The Climate Trail - Release 1.0 Available Now!

I decided the best thing I can do about the climate crises, besides the personal and political stuff (bike commuting, vegan, donating what I can to candidates who get it) is to apply my game design experience to a climate-apocalypse game.

The game is based on the play of the most popular educational game ever released, The Oregon Trail and inspired by the tipping point we are now at with climate change.

The Climate Trail is a completely free (no ads, no in-app purchases) multi-platform game about climate refugees fleeing ever worsening conditions after inaction on climate has rendered much of the USA (and the world) uninhabitable.  The game combines the adventure and play of the journey north with visual novel elements where characters reveal how and why this climate apocalypse unfolded.
